If you go to their Rivals site the message boards are funny as crap. They are throwing every college football coach around like they really have a shot. It's not only CPR but Ferentz and a bunch of other guys. It's not like they are Ohio State.

Truthfully when we were looking for coach we were throwing around names that probably wouldn't have sniffed the job after Chizik left.

They are a school that has 9 national championships (although only one has been since 1938). So I'm not sure if we should be bashing them since people look at this site to judge our school's fans.
I don't know if you all remember, but when we played them in the 2000 Insight they were about the most rude, arrogant and condescending fans I have ever encountered. I kind of chalked it up to the fact that they were in a pro football city and therefore had a superiority complex, but they really do think they are God's gift.
It's fun to go on their message boards and tell them who to hire. They get all mad and stuff. Try it. Go on their board and just mention a name like Chris Ash or some off the wall name. Then state a case for them hiring them. Make sure it's someone that has no chance to get the job. They get all ****** off.

I don't buy into their 9 claimed National Championships. Only 3 were unanimous. 1976 is their latest and a legitimate championship. Their other two unanimous championships were in 1916 and 1918 (in which their record was 4-1). The rest of them somebody just claimed they were. Having said that I would still consider it a upper profile job (just below high profile job) but def not a low profile job.
They definitely think they are a little better than they actually are but you could probably say that about every fanbase in America.
