He got a kick out of the entire ISU student entire flopping during one of his free throws. It was just part of the game for him.

He's probably the only KU player I HAVEN'T hated.

One of my kids was wearing an old Cyclone Alley shirt in a restaurant in Wichita and Perry Ellis walked by. He smiled and asked him how’s it going. Apparently he held no hard feelings towards Cyclone Alley.

Perry Ellis is one of most likeable opponents I can remember. If people hated him it was probably because it seemed like he played for 10 years.
