This is fun Friday subject! I'll go white.

So as my kids have become teenagers they have hammered the microwave popcorn. Box always empty and it was always on the grocery list every time we went. Whatever, certainly worse things they could be eating while studying. BUT, I bought an old school air pop popcorn maker. Good Lord I forgot how delicious air popped popcorn is. My kids were blown away by it too. Not to mention I can get a months supply of popcorn kernals for the price of 1 box of microwave popcorn. So naturally this has grown into finding different "kinds" and "varities" of kernals, which is fun for the whole family.

Iowa company, good stuff:

Now that we're talking about it, I hate that Hilton has a central popping area. No idea if it's there or supplied that way.
Those large clear trash bags they bring to the individual concession areas are pretty dull flavor wise.

Ellie Mae's from Breda Ia. I like white, air popped with way too much butter and a little sprinkle of parmesan cheese.

Keep talking... where would one find that
You can buy this from any seed company. Seed Savers in Decorah is where I found mine but you can get it through other vendors.

I'm genuinely curious what brand(s) people like to pop. I've come to enjoy Noble which I try to buy when I'm back in the state since their shipping prices are ridiculous. Used to like Fit-Pop but the last couple bags haven't popped well for me.

I am not brand loyal (but Tiny But Mighty is really good corn), but I do only buy from Iowa companies.

Stir Crazy is the best method.

I rarely eat it because I despise getting **** stuck in my teeth.

When I do, there’s enough butter on it to turn white popcorn yellow. I guess that makes yellow the correct answer.

Agree, I'm an air popper. That smell is fantastic!
