It was before we knew they were going to copy the USC look. I thought then, as I do now that the 1976 Earle Bruce unis should be our primary. I've only ever wanted white helmets for the road unis.

No one wanted a permanent white helmet and they still don't. People are happy because this is an alternate helmet. This gets stated multiple times in every uniform thread and people still can't figure it out.

A team can wear whatever color they want to at home, as long as the opponent is ok with it. LSU wears their whites at home as their regular uni.
