There’s a comp I never expected. Right now, Grill’s confidence reminds me of Senior Matt Thomas when he would get the ball, be closely defended, and just rise and fire over the top of the defender anyway.

Dont know anything on this, but I feel like its safe to assume players, especially freshmen, who end up on the end of the bench all season will probably not come back the next year. That's just the CBB world we live in now

I wouldn't expect Eli King to leave, but I guess it's possible.

Wouldn’t be totally surprised to see him go to an MVC school and get minutes.

With Lipsey and Williams at point, Grill back, and TJ bringing in these 6-6 and 6-8 wings that can shoot I think Eli is going to get limited minutes unless he realy establishes himself as a defender like Gabe or Grill.

Yeah, I assume the same. Even 2nd/3rd year types of guys will do it in the "new norm."

I can see it now.....he gets sleeve tats....hits the weight room even more....pure badass.

But to your point, he absolutely reminds me of Ice. Grill also sneaky all over the place with boards and such.
