Your record says who you are. There are reasons some teams lose close games all the time in a given season. And it's not always because the ball did not bounce their way.

sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. probably a little of both. If ISU just makes makable field goals agains ku and ksu, the same team we are talking about goes from a disappointment to a young bowl team with a bright future ahead.

if two of your best players don't drop sure td's against texas and osu late in the 4th qtr, that could be 2 more wins.

those dropped balls and those missed kicks had nothing to do with any of the players caught up in this mess.

last years team looked a lot like the 2016 team. right on the doorstep, just not over the hump.

you actually think losing 4-5 RS senior starters won't hurt this team. you may be "over" losing them and ready to move on but don't pretend this isn't a huge gut punch for this team's potpotential

I think that we could have used Jirehl Brock early on. That would have won us at least the Ohio game. Isaiah Lee would have been nice to have rotating in on the DL. Did not miss Dekkers or Hanika. No idea on whether having a full season with Remsburg would have helped or not.
