WHICH GAME?

At the same time, Iowa stormed the field when they beat us last year.. and we were not exactly the greatest team in america last year...
:biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

I think storming the field is one of JT great traditions, and really builds up the FB team. Let's hold off on doing it after soundly defeating the NDSU Sioux

They are def not the Sioux.

I totally agree. Come on people, over the last decade we have beaten Iowa more often then not, and we have really owned them at Jack Trice. Act like you have been there before. It only reinforces the hawk fan idea that we are little brother or we only care about beating iowa.

I couldn't agree with you more. It seems as if this series, both football and basketball, the home team wins. I expect to beat the Hawks this year. Now if we beat a top 10 ranked OSU team, go like hell.

Storming the field is fun as long as it is a worthy opponent. I would say the only reason to storm the field this year, as others have said, would be Iowa, heavily favored opponent or a bowl eligible win.
On a side note, I had a great time storming the court at Hilton as a student about 4 years back when we beat Texas and it was a very tight game. That was really fun.

Not sure I would even consider Iowa worthy of storming, however I know some fans will if we do win. Only ranked opponents should even be considered which Iowa may or may not be at that time. However I think that we should act like we have won games before and only storm after beating a top 10 team like Okie St could be when they roll in this year.

Unless you think Iowa is going to lose to UNI, they'll be ranked.

ISU fans should storm the field after a win against any ranked team, and any B12 game.

As do a lot of fans. Some may even storm the field after beating teams that go 2-10!

I don't remember saying other fans should or shouldn't....

Personally it depends on the type of game (close/blowout), the quality of the opponent vs the quality of your team, rivalries, etc.

I assume you were talking about Iowa fans, and considering the way the game played out, the time of year the game was played, the disaster that was the previous season...I don't see a problem with it.

BEST MEMORY: storming the field vs. colorado the last game of the year when there was the crazy ending... lifting ace bowen on my uncle and I's shoulder and seeing his huge smile and him raising his helmet in the air! he was a stud

hahahahaahahah you call yourself an isu fan. read this clown Iowa St. 31, Colorado 28 - NCAA College Football Recap - ESPN

also my name is from an aim name ive had for ages. dont argue with me unless you acutally go to games and remember what happens in them. i was watching from the stands when idiots rushed vs colorado. colorado would lose to nd state i would think. if we win i pray we dont rush

Wow. You are worse than a child.

With all the build up to the game I'd consider Iowa to be storm-worthy this season. It seems justifiable to show a little extra love to the team.

It would also make sense to storm if we make it to win #6. At this point it would be a milestone on our road back to credibility.

It's fun for the fans, it's a pat on the back for our players, and it's an impressive display for any recruits in attendance. With all the games over the last few seasons that have ended with half empty stands, it would be nice to get some homefield feeling back. In reasonalbe doses of course.

Has anyone said a Big12 AWAY game. If I'm there and we win one on the road I'll go to the field - who's coming with me! (or I'm I the only one getting arrested again)
