Which Brother Was Better?

Chris was better utilized for the identity of the program and NWB always seemed to be almost *there* to dominate but never quite got there.

Chris probably also seems better in hindsight because it was during a resurrection while NWB was part of some great successes and some weirdness.
A favorite Chris game was in 2012 when they hit 15 threes as a team in Norman and he had 4 (I looked it up just now as I remembered lots of threes).

It’s a bit like Morris vs Diante Garrett to me.

CB might have done more, but he was usually surrounded by more. Have to imagine NWB usage far exceeds CB.

In NWB’s time he had to do quite a bit more than the 3&D his older brother got to excel in.

I’m always prone to give the nod to the dogs who where multiple hats.

Better? CB by a bit
More vital/important to their teams? NWB

Wait - I really appreciate DG, but are you suggesting there’s a debate to be had between him and Monte?

Nick for me. Invaluable to the teams he played on. Chris more of a role guy, albeit a very good one.

Chris as a role guy for sure. We needed him on D. Every team knew we were putting him on their best guy and he usually still delivered.

Chris Babb getting hurt against Ohio State is almost on par with the Niang broken foot as what if moments in the tournament. So I have to pick him.

Nick's nagging injuries kept him from being great, but he was still very good.

And obviously had the better name!

I appreciate NWB's approach and play, but Chris was a big time player that sacrificed his offensive stats for being the single defender in Hoiball while he was here. His 3 pt% would have been much better had he not been face guarding the opponents best player every single game. His size, defense and 3pt shooting is just unmatched and was a special talent.
And we would have beat Ohio St had he not got hurt.
