I think Monte has a draft promise from at least one team. Hope he goes to a good franchise at least.
Hoping late first round to an already good team. Monte would be a stud as a backup PG for the Warriors. Holy assists Batman!!

That;s where I have him too, and if not there then the Pacers at 47. Both teams will be basically starting from scratch at the point with Teague probably moving on in Indy and Holiday leaving New Orleans. There's opportunity in those spots to carve out a backup role.
I wouldn't be surprised to see LAL take him with one of their 2 late 1st round picks. Magic taking the Flint kid.
I'm kinda here with you as well. I think Monte feels like he did his best workout with the Lakers, and with all the movement theyve seemed to be trying, Monte to the Lakers would not surprise me in the slightest
I think Brooklyn would be a great landing spot. He'd have a chance to play and establish himself, and even though they're bad the Nets run an up tempo style that would suit his game well. If he goes to a good team he'll be buried down the depth chart.
They at least have the fifth and tenth picks along with some decent young roster talent (Cauley-Stein, Hield, Labissiere). Brooklyn is a dumpster fire and doesn't have good picks either and their highest paid player is...Timofey!!!
doubt the LAL would take two PG's in the first round. They are not the Timberwolves.
LAL may not even own those picks by the time the draft rolls around.

If Monte gets drafted, makes a squad and actually plays I may have to watch some NBA again. Watched zero games this year but Morris could change that, or maybe Georges at some point.
Not excited about New Orleans although it might be a playing time opportunity. New Orleans ain't no kinda city to live in especially for a young northern man. It's just a sad broken place unless you grew up there and have some ties to it.
