Where are they now: Aaron Agnew

The article is largely about "where was he then," but I would love to know much more about what he is doing now, particularly related to employment, basketball, etc. What does he mean my "being in the oil industry?" Does he follow Iowa State? Did Rahshon get the tattoo?

The article said that he did some boxing and semi-pro football after college. This was 2008-2010. He looked into continuing basketball, but there wasn't any money in it for him.

He's been in the oil & gas industry since then working a few different positions at a few different companies. His LinkedIn seems like it was kept updated -

Thanks for sharing the article, I enjoyed it!

Indeed, it was very interesting to learn more about him. However, in an article like about "where is he now," I hoped for more details. "Being in the oil & gas industry" could mean anything from being a propane dealer like Jon Miller to being a gas station attendant. Based on his LinkedIn page, it sounds like he has operated oil wells and is now doing repairs to oil wells. I can't even imagine what that would be like, but it sounds quite stressful . . . and lucrative. Has @brentblum contacted him?

Seems like a guy that wish he could have stayed and played out his eligibility at ISU. He sounds very well rounded, not just a basketball player/ athlete. Did he get run off by Morgan or would it have been McDermott?

Wasn't he the guy that was very highly rated but turned out to be, for lack of a better term, not quite good enough?

I can't remember if he came in highly touted, but he came in huge, literally. 6'9" 330 I think is what he was listed at. Thought we were getting baby Shaq, which the article mentions. Ironically, the real baby Shaq was in the same recruiting class but went to LSU, Glen Davis
