When will Clones be ranked?

I agree that I think we will be a lot better than peoples expectations for next year. I really like the potential for Ejim to be a force next year. Who will be a better forward than him next year in the XII? Throw in Niang's abilities as well and that is a very talented front court to hopefully help a very young but talented back court...

personally I believe next year will set us up nicely for the years following next season hopefully Matt Thomas and Monte Morris are what we think they are. Hopefully we have a nice year get in the tourney get some good JUCO recruits and get us into the top 25 in the nation the next year. We just need the players that can play consistently game in and game out

I think Fred is slowly transitioning away from transfers and into 4/5 star high school players. He already has a commit for 2014.

When you consider we lost our top 3 producers last year and reloaded its pretty cool. But we reloaded with transfers next year we reload with freshman and jucos, may take a year to fully see the fruits.

I would love if we could start moving out of getting transfers. dont get me wrong i would love the occasional transfer but i dont like that we have to rely on mostly transfers i would love if we could get the 4-5 star recruits that stay with us all four years. i also forgot about Clay Custer on my last post i hope that he is as good as i think he will be

Next year is a complete wild card because we'll need serious contributions from players that aren't on our campus yet.

Last year at this time, we'd heard rumblings that Clyburn and Lucious were pretty good. Obviously we knew we had Ejim, Babb, McGee and Booker. Luckily Niang lived up to his billing, or may have exceeded it.

If MT and MM live up to their billing, and we get some level of contribution from the Juco's we'll probably be a salty team similar to this year.

If those guys need time to develop, we'll take some lumps, IMO.

If next year's freshmen play like Niang did, ISU should be just as good as this year. Although it is tough to lose the go-to players from this year, so it'll be interesting to see who steps it up from the guards. We all know what to expect from Mel and Georges, a lot of unknown right now that won't be discovered until conference play starts.
