No, not this year, and most certainly not next year, but the following year we should finally be a ranked team for the bulk of the year. The time lapse of non-ranked ISU teams is depressing but what will Hilton be like when it becomes the norm?

I think next year is possible because I think Fred still has some tricks up his sleeve for recruiting.
I can all but guarantee you 2015 is the biggest year for me. The Cubs will win the world series and the Cyclones will be an elite 8 team.

While I wouldn't go as far to say as next year's team will be ranked I will say however that I think next year's team is going to be better than people think. If we were close to being ranked at one point this year, I could easily see next year's team getting close too.

2013-14 I would say will have a ceiling of being a bubble team (about like this year). We may take our lumps and I wouldn't be shocked to see us finish with 16 or so wins unless our Juco's are better than advertised.
2014-15 should set up nicely for us to be a serious B12 contender. And if we can somehow land a legit big between now and then we could be set up to play most of the season ranked and make a deep tourney run.

If you mean preseason Top 25, I'd guess the 2014-2015 season. I hope I'm wrong, but unless Matt Thomas is even better than advertised and the Juco transfers exceed everyone's expectations, it's probably a bubble team for the tourney in the best case scenario.
I'd be ok with having the 2014-2015 team being really good. That's my senior year and would love to finish it off with a bang
I'm really tempering my expectations for next year in the interest of preserving my sanity. I think we'll be okay but a step down from this year. Im not saayingn we'll succk but I don't think the players we have coming in can fill the shoes of Babb, KL and Mcgee (yes, left Will out on purpose). I only say that because of their newnesss, really looking forward to that talent thefolllowing season.
I mean during any extended time during the year. Teetering at 23-25 every few weeks wouldn't fit my criteria for this discussion. I'll take an NCAA bid right now for next year if offerred. I don't care if it's last team in. I think it will be NIT.
Next year is absolutely possible, though it would take a lot of things gelling just right to make it happen.
