This guy is giving your students waaaay too much ammo. Students need to be equipped with flopping stuff for when he is on defense and the 'don't shove me bro' stuff for when he is on offense.

The "Please Don't Hurt Us" chant would be an excellent start.
The idea of the students flopping when Smart comes downcourt would be memorable.
Of course, the arena has to chant "You're a flopper" many times.
"Smart" shoving "Smart" would be a visual for the ages.
All of that can happen without taking away from the outstanding seniors.

And im sure what Ejim wants most on that day is a win. Smart has showed its very possible to get into his head. And while i dont condone crossing the line in order to do so, i certainly think other things to attempt to do that are fair game

Absolutely. I don't think a flop-o-meter would be out of line, but anything related to this incident seems out of bounds, or at least pretty classless now that he's apologized. I remember when Steve Stepanovich of Missouri accidently shot himself and some fans had pop guns, and I recall a suicide steve sign. Hope we've progressed since then.
The camera was not on him before it was said so how could you tell again? This guy is a known asss from a hick part of TX. It is quite likely he said exatly that.
Agree. Plus, Smart got a 3-game suspension. He crossed a line and he has to sit. Any "organized taunting" by ISU fans regarding the incident is no better than an isolated "super fan" provoking a player. In fact, it's probably worse. Demonstrate some perspective.
Normally I'd be all for something like this, but I think we should let it rest after he serves his 3 game suspension. Put me into the camp that thinks it should be a "Melvin Ejim Appreciation Night" instead.
How many times did Travis Ford say he "loves" Marcus Smart during that press conference? 30 times? Plenty of photoshop opportunities available thanks to the excessive amount of "love" going on between those two.
