I'm glad that a major network (Fox Sports) is finally attempting to challenge the "World Wide Leader" for TV sports content. However, I was wondering what you Fanatics think is your favorite go-to sports page for news and scores for all major sports. It seems like the website leaders are:

ESPN
Yahoo Sports
Fox Sports
CBS Sports
Others...

ESPN has a nice looking website, and sports is all they do. However, their Scorecenter App is slow and not very good. I'm not a huge fan of ESPN as a company, but their coverage of the major sports is the gold standard.

Yahoo Sports is also a good looking website, and the articles are mostly AP articles which are usually good pieces of journalism. It's also just a website without any interest or influence on the success of athletic conferences (read, doesn't sway realignment). The Yahoo Sports app is easily the best app for scores out there, IMO. It also integrates nicely with the website if you're logged in on both.

Fox Sports' ugly design is enough for me to not want to use it. Everything is grey and blocky, and is just not pleasant to look at. The content is great though, and would easily compete with ESPN and Yahoo Sports if it wasn't so darn ugly. Also, there's no shortcut for going to a page for your favorite teams like there is on ESPN and Yahoo Sports. That's really a must-have feature for me, since I don't follow sports too closely outside of my teams.

CBS Sports is sort of... meh! Content is OK. Looks are OK. That's about it.

Did I miss any others? What are your thoughts?

I admit, I do go visit SB Nation almost daily (for WRNL), but for this thread I'm talking about the do-it-all sports website - scores, articles, fantasy, analysis, blogs, etc.

I go to ESPN for scores, I go to Deadspin more though but mostly because it's funny, some decent stuff there from time to time though.

Yahoo Sports by far. They have more and better content than ESPN and also are not ESPN. I'll read linked articles to other sites and occasionally go to ESPN for some things (ESPN lists the channel for every game, Yahoo doesn't) but Yahoo is the only one I go to just to check out what articles they have up.

Voted "other" for CF. I really do get the majority of my sports information from this site via links and things. I frequent Yahoo for fantasy leagues and things but most of my information comes from here.

Fanatic for sure. If there is anything going on worth knowing, chances are it is already here.
