What would Gary be saying now that Iowa fired their coach and will be hiring I would assume a big name to put Iowa back on the basketball map. ISU could end up with no chance at all on any recruits that we will compete with Iowa in the future. It may be too late for our program for years to come. UNI and Drakes success did not hurt our chances with recruits but a resurgence of the Iowa program will cost us more than replacing a coach this year.

Oh, gee, I hope your right. I've really enjoyed 4 years of ineptitude, and I can't wait for 4 more. It makes perfect sense to reward someone who has lost twice as many players as he had graduated, and finished .500 the past 4 years.

It is too bad the working world doesn't work like the Iowa State Basketball world. It would be great to know you could do as poor of job as you possibly can, and not be held accountable for anything.
