Jameson Curry staying in the NBA draft. I thought he was a pretty good college player. This sounds crazy though. Maybe I just don't judge talent very well.

From the ESPN article:

Sutton said Curry informed him that he would be staying in the draft and was hopeful that he would be selected in the second round.

It sounds to me like Curry isn't delusional about his draft prospects. I'm guessing he's leaving because he's just not cut out for school. He'd rather play basketball full-time (even if it's in the CBA or the NBDL, which is quite likely) than deal with all the peripheral issues that come with being in college. I'm not saying I agree with it at all, but I can see his point. At least he doesn't have some sketchy entourage and a corrupt agent telling him he's going to be a lottery pick.

I can never figure the NBA out. Some kids seem like they would kick butt there, and do nothing. Others that seemingly have little game become 12 year players.

Actually, pick #51, to Chicago. He'll enjoy a quality year in the NBDL, i'm certain.
