What happens to Chizik?

One thing that has got to be nice about coaching at Iowa State University is that there is very low pressure as compared to bigger time schools. Look how long we kept McCarney with some of the dismal records he had. ISU fans are full of two things, pride and patience. Gene knows he is relatively safe in his job and that has got to be a huge asset in his line of work.

2 - Ability to recruit at a high level based on tradition.

If coach can recruit high level players to ISU on a consistent basis, I could potentially see him sticking around for awhile. But we've seen what happens - Hayden Frye and Bill Snyder. At some point, the recruiting slows.

Where do I sign up for that? I'd be thrilled with type of sustained success.
