What do we do with an open scholly?

well, i donno if this matters to anybody.

I was at the state semi's

His dad was sitting behind us (2 rows), he was talking about how Harrison was gonna make him lots of money.

Also he spent time after with his gf, but it wasn't alot and sat by himself for like 3/4 of the game. He might have been focused on his championship opponent, but it's weird he didn't just stay by his GF.

Also, he signed an autograph for his dad? It sure looked like it.
Isn't it a little weird he's signing an autograph for his dad after a semifinal game?

Guessing they don't have a very good relationship? IDK, just wanted to seem like I know something kg or cy doesn't :biglaugh:

My guess is, Iowa State and Duke would be the top 2, Dad wants him to be on TV all the time, while his mom wants him to stay here.

Just what I have heard, so don't go running off the deepend on me:wink:

Basically didn't even know HB was good until recently...Been running from child support for awhile(not with HB).

If you believe what Harrison himself said in the Register before the state tournement, they are not close. It sounds like a somewhat sad situation, but it seems obvious that Harrison's mom has done a really great job raising him. Ron Harris probably hurts Iowa State's chances more than he helps them.

It's interesting that kg says that we have a 1/4 chance of landing him.....I am guessing that means he is down to 4 schools and not just a 25% chance. If so, I would be curious as to the 4 schools. I've been guessing (perhaps hopefully) for a while that he is down to Duke and Iowa State. Basically, that Duke is his elite school of choice and Iowa State is the hometown hero school. But if he has 4 schools----I would guess it's Duke, Iowa State, NC, and ??? Maybe Kansas or Florida?

Frankly, its amazing that we have managed to stay in the running this long considering the mess that is Iowa STate's basketball program. And I do feel like we are still in the running because I think things would really leak out if there was no chance.

Has anyone taken into consideration we may still be in the HB sweepstakes because HB likes GMac and the staff and they are recruiting him well. Not saying that's the only reason or even main reason (Mom probably trumps a lot). I know some would hate to give GMac that much credit though.

With all the time HB has spent around the program, that would have to be one of the reasons.

I would hope so. Seems like whenever HB comes up its always about hometown versus good program. Seems no one talks about HB viewing ISU as a good program in his eyes (style, coaches, atmosphere, etc. Not wins obviously.) I know he's said he wants the chance to win a NC and a good business school, but he seems to ALWAYS say that as in more of canned answer rather true meaning behind it. I would imagine most kids in his position would come up with a pat answer for that question since he's asked so often.

Anywhere he goes has a chance to be a serious contender. He can factor that into his decision.

I was just messing around. I have actually never seen Jordan play so I have no opinion. Have you ever seen either of them play(Jordan or Bubu)?
