The obsession about how bad everyone is despite the general winning continues.
I don't even necessarily disagree with him on all of his points about defensive rebounding, but today is a weird day to bring it up (as it was after the KSU game when he did the same thing).
Tech had an offensive rebounding rate of 20% today, below their season number of 30.5% and their conference number of 26.6%. Granted, their best big man was out, but Jennings played more as a result and is actually their best offensive rebounder.
It's not even the points being made, it's the insufferable obsession with how awful everyone is and obsessively dissecting something as simple as a player coming in for a spell and doing good things.
Imo this group gets impatient and sped up at times with a lead but it's not like I can suggest the coaches are OK with it or aren't constantly trying to work with the team on the best possible outcome.

I would suggest that the fact that this team hasn't really put it all together yet is the really exciting part. Game after game, they tighten things up just a bit. If/when they really put the full game on the floor, I don't think there is anyone they can't beat.

I was there for the McLemore game, too. I don't remember seething, but I'm a lot smarter than him.

Well, I don't know. I think he probably was in an indirect way in that he would have lots of valid complaints about the team in those days.
ZRF likes to ignore rebounds by guards. They apparently don’t count. Today’s 16 by Gilbert Tamin and CuJo might as well be zero.
ZRF going on other team's boards to pose as the "reasonable Cyclone fan" who then proceeds to flatter their high opinions of themselves (especially Kansas from the looks of it) and seek validation for his/her bizarrely low opinion of the program under TJ (and, you know, they're only #4 on Torvik and #9 on KenPom right now) is either the saddest thing I've ever seen from a supposed "Iowa State fan" or a 7D chess move on the trolling board so genius I can barely even fathom it. Anybody want to help me out on this one?

I'm voting saddest thing I've ever seen. His whole narrative started going to hell when BRE improved over the summer and he was unable to accept it. Now he just continues to double down that we suck even the eye test and lots of metrics show we don't.
