Does it really freakin' matter whether you call it a suspension or DNP coach's decision? A suspension is a coach's decision as well. McKay f'd something up and Prohm decided not to play him. Period.

He inherited a truly weird situation. Basically a no win situation. I think he's done a pretty good job but its really hard to evaluate.
The positive about Wallen's posts are that we can now concoct any crazy theory and it might be right. My personal theory based on the embarrassing part is that McKay was using the Hilton video board to watch porn and Prohm walked in with important boosters to give them a private tour as this was happening. 
Its got nothing to do with the pace, we simply had a better than expected record in close games in past years and have the opposite this year. Not real hard to understand.
So Randy, CW, and Fran don't like how the JM story is being handled. While everyone is entitled to their opinion, I wonder if they have they been at all the practices or player meetings with the coaches that give them this slant? If they have 'inside' info that warrants their position, they should share it. I'm not surprised that Randy would make this commentary (gives him something to write about), but I'm surprised CW and Fran have.
...and without Naz. That keeps getting said, but also keeps getting forgotten.
Give me a break. Fred had similar drama with BDJ last year. McKay has a bad attitude and skipped class. He hasn't committed a crime or something where you can lay down a swift and clear punishment and move on.
He has zero depth and probably realizes that he needs to do everything possible to keep McKay for the post season.
His hands are pretty tied on this.
I think most people thought we would improve defensively...not many people thought we were going to become a shutdown team defensively, but even a small improvement would've been huge for this group with how dynamic they already are offensively...
I'm not sure why you thought that was 'the funniest thing of the whole year'?...it's not unrealistic or far-fetched to improve on something that you put an emphasis on.
I will add to wild speculation. But was told today that McKay was sat due to him telling the staff he needs to talk to an agent to see if he should keep playing or not.
The people had a right to know what the president knew and when did he know it (Watergate, Iran-Contra, etc.).
We don't have the right to know everything going on in the lives of college basketball players, or why the coach isn't playing him. Jameel and his teammates seem to know. And seem to be fine with it.
I prefer this to the crazy rumors surrounding BDJ during his short tenure.

I wonder if that was before or after the players only meeting where tears where shed.
If this is true, he may want to change the "death before dishonor" tag on his Twitter profile as that is about as cowardly and selfish statement that a member of a team can make...
