Confluence Campfire Black Lager. Ahh, Cyclone victories taste so roasted and smokey…picked up a half growler at Cyclone Liquors, as well as a bomber of TG Dorothy…speaking of which, that will be my first TG brew. Really high expectations based on the brewery, but heard the Dorothy may not be great. Am I in for a letdown?

Last night I finally got my hands on a four pack of the Tallgrass Vanilla Bean Stout. It was thinner than a typical stout but just the right amount of sweetness for a dessert beer. Drank like a cream soda.

Agree, it was definitely lacking. Did not taste like what I remembered from the first time I tried it.

I had stopped in the Prairie Trail Hy-vee last Thursday and i was shocked that they still had a full case of Golden Nugget and the Tsunami in the cooler, not shocked that the Sue was gone.

Last wednesday day I had one Yeti and within 2 hours I vomited 6 times. I don't know what happened but it wasn't pretty.

Local Hy-Vee started carrying TG beers, but all they had was Dorothy's New World Lager. So, enjoyed my first TG beer tonight.
