Wet Turf Again?

Will the students have to move their cars if their are no fans?

Its actually a valid question if you are a student that parks there and may want to use your car Saturday. Will they prevent you from going there just to prevent any bootleg tailgating?

The field probably needs rain too. No way we should be spending money for the sprinklers to be running in this environment. That would be Incredibly irresponsible with a worldwide pandemic going on and Ames iowa being the worst place for it.

They are watering the field despite the protestors outside of the gates.

Any updates from the weather experts on here?

Looks like rain this entire week.... even going into Saturday now with a 40% chance on gameday of course..... because we are ISU.

Looks like the field will get some sun a few hours before game time. I imagine with how dry it has been prior to this week it will be in decent shape by game time.

Accuweather currently shows rain starting at 4-5pm tomorrow afternoon. Mid 60's throughout the game. Field should be fine if that remains accurate. Thank god we are playing early though.

I wonder if the crew has been able to paint the field yet. If it's covered, the surface will be perfectly fine for the game.

Doesn't it favor Louisiana if the turf is really wet and we can't unleash our passing game?

There are two thoughts on how a wet field affects the passing game. The one you're saying.... and the other says it's even better for the offense because the offensive player knows where and when they are going to cut and the defender doesn't, so the defender has a much better chance of slipping than the offensive player does.
