Syracuse pounding UNC and Syracuse los to Div 2 team

in their exhibition, what the is going on there...

someone let Harrison Barnes know that a former ISU basketball player is having a career day against UNC
 
Wes Johnson and the University of Syracuse Men's Basketball team currently winning!

I also wanted to start a thread regarding this event on ESPN 2.

WJ is a nice player. His decision is paying off at the moment. After this week he will be a household name in the basketball world.

Both teams are on the tube so much - between watching Wesley Johnson light it up, and hearing Barnes' name mentioned every game ("the nation's number one player out of AMES, IOWA), it's going to be a long winter...

Probably THE thing that bugs me. WJ plays for Syracuse: OHHHHH HE'S A SUPASTAAAH HE'S A SUPASTAAAAAH; WJ puts up the same numbers for ISU, silence.

Yep, and get use to seeing it because Syracuse is on national tv A LOT.

Carolina doesn't have enough people this year who can put the ball in the basket, especially from the perimeter.

I am sorry that he chose to leave ISU, for whatever reason. There is no doubt that he and Craig together, and the rest of the players on this year's team would have been an outstanding ISU team, perhaps the best ever.

On the other hand, the fact that Mac did find him and did recruit him when no one else really was, and the other players like Craig, Dendy, MG, Lucca, etc. that Mac has found and recruited to ISU gives me some hope for the future of the program.

I wish Wes had stayed, but it won't keep me from watching Syracuse play this year. Has anyone followed the other players that have left ISU? Might be interesting to have something set up to track them this season here on the site. Just a thought.
