I've always used teamrankings.com to rank my teams

It is a good site for projecting seeds and probabilitues of ncaa tournament etc. at the end of the year. My guess is they started off pure where some use last year etc. fir beginning of year to prevent a skewed data. We rank pretty high in sagarins pure elo too.

I know it's a power ratings table, but I wonder about its legitimacy when schools like Indiana and Duke are rated in the 30s.

And seriously people, it is obviously a poll that doesn't take preseason rankings into much effect and scores you on what you have actually done.

Right now, there isn't a team in the nation with 2 quality wins like we do, and there are only a handful that even have one.

As the season goes, obviously those schools will rise to the top.

Makes more sense than KenPom where we only moved up 3 spots after two wins that are better than any two combined wins by any other team in the nation...while teams who have played sub 300 SOS keep moving up in front of us because of his dumb formula based on not losing players and winning without scoring much. We could probably blow out Duke and Kansas in our next two games and not crack the top 20 in KenPom because we didn't do it with players from last year's team in a defensive struggle, that's basically his formula. You're good if you win with last year's players and/or win without scoring much.

Cool site for stats and trends, cool site for predicting individual game winners and losers although no better than Sagarin predictor, but horrendous system of actually ranking who deserves to be ahead of who according to quality of wins and losses.

This is to make sure those epic 42-36 Big 10 games are worth a lot.

McD's last year we were rated as high as 30 and ended up in 82
Last year Iowa ended up higher than Baylor in their final power rankings...

Some questionable stuff about this but still entertaining.

Big 12 is the only conference with 2 wins over top 25 teams.
