I only disagreed because I'd love it if their entire team was injured
The less excuses the better if Iowa loses.
ISU has the ability to win if it plays well with the current roster, so no excuses there.

if ISU does not win by 15 or more I will be shocked. Babb is going to have field day with whoever guards him. Joe, and believe it or not Connor are the best young guys we have. Cook will get his, but JB i struggling to find his shot this year and cant guard anyone.
*Garza is inconsistent, but if he is shooting from the outside well could get between 12-16 pts and 5-8 boards. He is above average but turns it over to much for my liking.
He's going to be a good player but I don't think he will go down as an all-time great or anything. He'll never have anything that resembles a supporting cast.
He’s short Uthoff/more versatile Matt Gatens imo. Not exactly the highest praise except to the ultimate hok homers.

I haven't seen Garza hit a 3 that he didn't have about 4 seconds to shoot, and haven't seen him hit anything that's not a layup or dunk if he's remotely guarded.
I can guarantee it won't be a 15 point ISU win, and I'm not even expecting an ISU win in general. We all thought Iowa was a wash two years ago and they went all golly gee on ISU while ISU just expected things to happen for them.
Bad karma dude.I only disagreed because I'd love it if their entire team was injured
Being from Muscatine, I'm not enjoying, nor looking forward to suffering through 4 years of all the social media posts in my feeds regarding Weiskamp. "going to the hawks game to see Joe...." "look at Muscatine's own...." All the Iowa boy chooses to stay home.....Honestly, the hero worship is going to be off the charts.
if he does go, who does he guard? Shayok or THT? Those two should be drooling about getting that match up, especially with virtually no rim presence around him.

Fran: Joe, can you play?
Joe: I don't know coach it hurts pretty bad.
Fran: Joe, there are dozens of Hawk fans counting on you.

I'll be surprised if Weiskamp doesn't at least give it a go. And I'll be equally surprised if the Cyclones don't go right at him from the opening tip just to see how healthy he is.
My god, how to you hide JoBo, Luka "The Hungry Caterpillar" Garza, and a hobbled Weiskamp in a 2-3 zone?!?! That alone might be worth the price of admission.
Bad karma dude.
