Weather forecast for UNI game

Look everyone knows a 14 day forecast can be unreliable, so you can congratulate yourself for stating the obvious. The point is the 14 day forecast is an educated guess by trained meteorologists, not a wild ass guess by someone off the street.

The forecast 14 days out was for 88 with little chance for precip. Now the forecast 6 days out is for 93 with little chance of precip. I wouldn't say that's a dramatic change. I figured the 14 day forecasted high would be within +/- 3 degrees. Guess we'll find out in 6 days.

85-88 is not quite in the +/- 3 degree rang for a current forecast of 93 (according to weather.gov). Which was my original point that these forecasts are not reliable, and you apparently have agreed to that point. There is quite a big difference in comfort from 85 vs 93

The original forecast 12 days out was for a high of 88, and the whole point of my post was that it looks like it's going to be a very warm game. As you've stated, the forecast could end up being several degrees off, but my main point still stands.

Your original post called for a forecast of 85-88. Then you added +/- 3 degrees. Even with a range of 82-91 (which is an absurd range), the prediction still won’t meet the actual temps. Hence, my point of a 12-14 day forecast is rarely accurate is validated

Forecast said it was going to be hot, looking like it'll be hot, forecast confirmed.
