Weather for CyHawk Game?

They didn't? Every forecast I saw indicated the chance and explained the unknown of where the storms would fire until they were happening.
Yea, I guess it’s unacceptable that you guys were maybe 2 hours off on your prediction of when the rain would hit. Amazes me that people seem to think that should be able to be forecasted down to the minute. I feel sorry for weather people. You guys do such a great job and people just think they don’t know anything.

I just assume we’re turning into a rainforest. Gonna see where I can fit a piranha tank in my house.

There won't be a mud issue at all on Saturday. Could be bubbled up turf or holes under the turf though. Those would be your biggest risks. Isn't artificial turf great?

You do realize, it wasn't the amount of rain, it was how quickly it came down.

3+" in less than an hour would turn a grass field into an abomination to play on. No team's field would be getting played on during that kind of storm anyway, so it's a ridiculous topic Clone fans have been harping on.

The field will be fine. Time to find another boogieman.

Iowa City seems to get more rain every time a poster defends the drainage at Kinnick.

The problem is within 10 minutes of a light spring shower Kinnick is flooded to the seats. It’s like that **** hole has zero drainage system.

This post would make a lot more sense if Kinnick had a grass surface and not an artificial surface that is literally designed to handle that much rain.

I was on a fairway at golf course in Champaign/Urbana in June and they had so much rain the fair looked like a huge tumor. I saw the Forest City turf, but have never seen natural grass do that before.

Remember, some hawk doosh said it’s designed to bubble to shed water. Has fans blowing under it. Laughable, but what a hawk said.

Yeah he was dumb. That being said we were talking to a friend (hawk fan) late last week and he said that his BIL that is working on plumbing/draining for the project called him the morning that it flooded saying that his boss screwed up and they have to fix a bunch of things....then that night the field flooded in moderate rain.

FYI- Recent model runs have kept most of the rain from Gordon to the south of the area on Saturday.

Looks like after today the 10 day is appearing dry. Good thing otherwise the grass lots might not even be available for the OU game.
