That sounds like an awfully lame event. Do they play both fight songs? Or just the state song (if there is such a thing)? Or have a Kansas cover band?
It is all about the fundraising, not the event. The We Will event will be so much more satisfying.

5k a head sounds like it would be full of dipshits
Can't imagine spending $5,000 per seat to be at an event half-filled with my rival's fans, listening to their coach work the room for half the night, knowing that half of the money is going to their NIL program.
You take the $5000 a head dip ***** and put them in the same room as the ISU fans complaining about a $2 pizza donation and see what happens.
