We Will Collective contributor numbers

Sure but if we even got 10% of 40,000 season ticket holders donating monthly we'd be killing it! We still haven't even hit 1,500 monthly donors to my knowledge.
I saw this morning that WSU Cougars Collective tweeted out that they have 1250 ish monthly donors

is that 40k households though?

the husband, wife and 2 kids that sit next to me may count as 4 season tickets but you're only going to get one donation out of them to a collective, not 4.

No, you're right, it definitely isn't 40,000 separate adults. I was agreeing with BCC's general point.

I think we're barely above that. Goal was to get to 2,000 by portal season/end of the year.

Iowa is just over 2,000 monthlys for comparison. Don't bring attention to this but they are really struggling with their match campaign.

i'd be curious to see what the number does look like for unique accounts that pay for season tickets

I would guess that you can divide that number by 3 to get a rough number for groups? So 13000? So if we want 25% that would give us 3250-3500 with we will.

I make annual and/or one time donations. I despise monthly payments. Even though its the same amount, I just like to pay once, otherwise it feels like I'm getting nickled and dimed by stuff.

Agreed, I will go out of my way to avoid monthly payments on anything. Utility bills and mortgage are the only thing I want to pay monthly.

I thought there was a more recent thread but couldn't find it, so these numbers are from 2021.

The last few posts show number of donors at:

Directors: 338
Victory: 704
Captain: 815
Gold: 2150
Cardinal: 1326
State: 1125
Century: 493

That's a total of 6951 donors.
Hopefully that's up over 7000 now.

In my opinion, ISU or We Will should somehow target the Century level. That's $100/year. That level should have well over 10,000 members.
Get people signed up for a recurring $8.50/month that they "forget" about.

I'll add I fully understand this is much harder than I'm making it out to be and I'm not criticizing the AD or Blum. I'm more saying the fanbase/alums need to step up and this would be a fairly easy way for people to do that. Most college grads should be able to give $100/year

I've said this before, but I think the target should be out of state, or those that live far away from the university. Living on the East Coast, I don't get much benefit by donating directly to the AD. Trying to get status for tickets doesn't have much value for me. But the We Will Collective does, as my payments go to retaining our players for a more competitive on field team. As a fan, that's what I want, and We Will, at least to me, has a bigger impact on my money.

"Schools in the new subdivision would also gain control of decision-making around scholarship limits and countable coaches, the NCAA's way of handing major conference programs the freedom to increase the limits or do away with them altogether."
This won’t happen because schools would have to distribute income equally across women’s sports. Schools will not want to provide the same amount of money as men’s football & basketball to the other women’s sports.
Under this model, they’d have to find a way to give money equally. 4 million for men’s football & basketball? 4 million for women’s sports.

I love our women’s bball team, but in no world should they get the same amount of money as football & mens bball.

No kinding. Also seems like they’re pretty bad at running a social account

While I agree with much of this, the first question is "for $8.50 per month what do I get?" When the answer is nothing, its a tough sell.

We're getting a new video board. Have a continuously scrolling list of names of people who donated to what amounts to less than what a beer costs in sukup (I assume) per month.
