We Will Collective contributor numbers

Brent mentioned the benefit of more monthly donors is we can budget accordingly going forward. That's why it would be huge to increase our number of monthly donors in the next 6 weeks before football portal season opens.

The more blunt way of saying this - we can promise more $ to the players.

We project as a really good football team next year if we are able to keep our young talent. Rocco, Eli Sanders, Cartevious Norton, Abu Sama, Ben Brahmer, Jaylin Noel, Beau Freyler, Jeremiah Cooper, Malik Verdon, Myles Purchase, Tyler Onyedim, Dom Orange, Ikenna Ezeogu. All returners we need to keep.

Recently increased my monthly contribution. I love my cyclones and don't get to attend many games in person. Since I'm not buying much in regards to ticket sales I feel like donating to We Will is the most direct impact I can have on athlete retention.

Our budget this year was just shy of $2M. So we need to double our efforts simply.

Speaking of Credit Cards, Admittedly,I’m not fully aware of the processing charges and impacts on this type of an execution but still believe a “Round Up” option at concession stands could create a decent bump.
Asked about this for football season and ran into some speed bumps, but some potential down the road.

Point blank: It won’t hit home for some until we lose someone that shocks us. Like I’m talking someone who goes and starts for a major program and ends up on the NFL draft stage on night 1 with another school’s name next to his.

Brent’s team worked wonders last year to keep the main guys in the fold. Every dollar counts. I’m signing up for a monthly donation today.

Seeing Michael Penix and Sam Hartman at Washington and Notre Dame (after making names for themselves at Indiana and Wake Forest) should be a big wake up call. We could get the next Brock Purdy for a year or two and then lose him to a B1G or SEC paycheck.

I know Brent won't be able to share "how the sausage is made".....but who is reaching out to these players? NIL leaders at other schools like Blum, middle men, etc? And do our kids go directly to Brent to get a counter offer?

I know kids have always been able to transfer/enter the portal....and "in theory" isn't that the only way a kid should learn their value?

Are you asking if they can test the waters without declaring for the portal? I don't see why not? Anyone else could do that as far as endorsements go.

A lot of people talk about high rollers and lack thereof. I think we have plenty of high rollers (not Boone Pickens type), we just don't have enough givers. Our numbers would be thru the roof if we had better participation rates.

I think there are plenty of people that think they are high rollers but in reality compared to real high rollers they are not.

Like most large schools, we have plenty of well off alumni. But the Boone Pickens types are in a different stratosphere. And we don’t have the luxury of being in an “oil money” state like UT or Tammy

I disagree. As I said, we don't have the mid-nine figure dude, but we have approximately 10 people that have written checks for $10 million to $25 million each. We have a whole bunch people in the $1 -$10 million range. What we don't have is the number of total givers at ordinary levels. Look at the numbers.

So you are saying we've had 10 people each give $10 - 25 million to We Will?

That would be contrary to what Blum said earlier regarding their annual budget.
