Just watched last night's Blue Mountain State on Netflix, and I quote, "The biggest sports riots in history happen after big wins. Iowa State, Maryland, New Orleans, LA".


I'm sure they are referring to the veisha riots, but they could be referring to the old tradition of carrying the goal posts to lake laverne.

The "riot" after beating UCLA in the Sweet 16 in 2000 was awesome! Lincoln Way was completely stopped at the Welch intersection. Although I don't know that riot is the right word, there wasn't really any destruction and arrests were minimal.
