Emily Ryan update?
Well that’s too bad. I hope she is ok. It’s kindof concerning. No, and there won't be one.
When there is one, you won’t need to ask in a game thread. The world will know.Well that’s too bad. I hope she is ok. It’s kindof concerning.
I didn’t want to look thru all the threads this was the first one. When there is one, you won’t need to ask in a game thread. The world will know.
And that’s okThis maybe a WNIT looking year at best.
Yeah, I don’t get why people are being borderline rude about your question. My source told me weeks ago she has a non-basketball related medical issue - I think we all agree her long-term health is the priority and she’s due privacy. HTH.I didn’t want to look thru all the threads this was the first one.
It’s just the world we live in today. It’s sad and not surprising anymore. Hope and pray one day it will change and we can all come together.Yeah, I don’t get why people are being borderline rude about your question. Crooks has already exceeded most people's expectations of her play so far this season. Go back and read the early comments; some people even suggested she should redshirt or would see very limited time. Already, she is our leading scorer or second leading scorer in many games. Not only is she good, but she learns and she adjusts. The rough and tumble of the B12 will be another jump, not so much because the teams are better, but because of the rigor of the schedule, often 2 games a week. So far, she has done all we ask of her. That should be enough to avoid these continuing questions about her abilities and her conditioning. If the upperclassmen gave us half of what we are getting from Audi, our record would be considerably improved. While she definitely has shown soft hands at the basket, For when it's time for conference play, I'm still really concerned about Crook's lack of height and in particular, her physical conditioning.
You've earned a break. No need to apologize.Sorry folks…we were doing thanksgiving today. Didn’t catch the game to write it up.
Agree to disagree - it’s reasonable for this fan base to expect winning records every year. JMHO.And that’s ok
Exactly. Her free throw shooting has been poor but that is something she can work on. WNIT doesn’t mean a non-winning record. I’ll be happy if we end above .500 Especially if we never see Ryan.Agree to disagree - it’s reasonable for this fan base to expect winning records every year. JMHO.
ESPN app showed one was 12-25 FG. Audi was 10-12.
Leaving her feet to get a rebound or 2 wouldn't hurt but in general she is playing well.Crooks really needs to work on FT shooting otherwise I have no complaints about her game so far.
Our guard court is in disarray.55 points between their two small guards. 59% of their teams shots but 68% of team points. Decent trade for the win. The pair also limited out guards (Joens/Belanger/Jackson) to 9 points.

With how many of our post players the last several years have missed point blank layups or dribble 5 times and get the ball stolen away or blocked, it's refreshing to finally have someone who just goes up with it (and makes it more often than not).Audi's average distance from the basket is about two feet. She should have a shooting percentage like that, TBH.

100% agree. I commented in a recent home game that it was nice to see a post that didn’t have to dribble before they moved or shot. With how many of our post players the last several years have missed point blank layups or dribble 5 times and get the ball stolen away or blocked, it's refreshing to finally have someone who just goes up with it (and makes it more often than not).
