That makes TWO wins over top 10 teams this year. Definitely helps the resume' for March. What was most interesting to me: how even the scoring was, only one 3 attempted after regulation, how bad the officials were in general, how dirty some of the Mildcats played, how I wanted to yak from about 5:00 left in the 4th until the end. Hope this kickstarts the girls for the rest of the season. Great win; go State!

Whooeee coach, that game was a dinger!
Crazy great game by the ladies tonight what a fun game to attend/watch. Built up that nice lead in the 1st half but couldn't hold on then OT here we come. I thought the freshman really stepped up Emily had a tough game getting buckets but had 12 assists and was nails from the free throw line. Audi played tough with Lee got blocked a few times but never backed down, her defense tonight was easily a career high IMO. She played Lee hard even had a couple of nice rotations to stop drives/get a block. Everyone that played contributed. Addy B nailed some big free throws, Diew is coming out of her scoring slump.

After the bad loss to OU, this game should really help restore the girls confidence. This game was a great and will go down in Cyclone lore IMO.

I'm sure @acoustimac write up will be far more concise than mine, but by golly I haven't walked out of Hilton after a WBB with a smile that wide on my face in a long time. Great job by the players, coaches, and fans.

Still at least 1 yr to go she's a Jr. currently. I really appreciate her as a player, but won't miss her when she graduates.

This will be interesting going forward. If a team doesn't have a center that can match up to Audi, why even play a true 5? Audi is going to push your weak center around. So it seems a guard line up works offensively against us. Audi isn't coming out to guard the perimeter, so you have an open look a lot of the time.

Joens is relentless, willing to throw her body around. I think all the freshmen are benefiting from Ryan's leadership but Ashley is the one that emulates her the most.

Joens needs to play lots more minutes the rest of the season!!

Sundell is killing us with the baseline drive. They are just screening out the middle defender and she takes baseline.

I think she ran that play 15 times and we never really adjusted to it.

This win was huge in terms of resume building.....even if we lose to Texas on Saturday and K-State on the road, we should make it in, as long as we win all our other games (which are pretty manageable).
