WBB: General All-NCAA Thread - Not Team Cyclones Stuff

Offensively maybe but I assume you weren’t old enough for Diana Taurasi? She is still the greatest women’s player I have seen play. Offensively she was unstoppable but she was just as good on the other end. She also is the closest thing the women’s game has seen imo to a Jordan level of intensity and refusal to lose.
Taurasi has been criticized for her defense, but she understands space and angles really well. Especially with the Phoenix Mercury, who have generally been up-tempo and offensive-minded, DT can leverage her court awareness rather than trying to play lockdown defense. CC isn‘t doing that as much at this point in her career.

I see many comparisons between Taurasi’s game and Caitlin’s. The shooting and range, of course, but even more, I see their soccer backgrounds in how they see the floor. (And maybe in their gamesmanship, as well.)

When did Va Tech get number 1 seed good? I remember them being alright better never that good. Did they get a really good coach?

Alissa Pille for Utah is physically similar to Audi Crooks. She was a multisport star in Alaska

A good coach with bad taste. At least she can make a change when finally convinced that look is not de rigueur. Poor dear...that being the creature once adorned with that feathering.

I was just giving NWICY a hard time for thinking that she had worn the jacket 2x... & then realizing that it was a replay...He probably thought that he was having a nightmare!

She probably got the jacket pretty cheep. I'll see myself out now....

Surprised Miami hanging with LSU early. I know they have beaten some good teams to get here but LSU has pretty talented roster.

No three-pointers for either team in the first half (0-15 total).

And Miami didn't even attempt a FT in the first half.

Miami
vs Ok. State came back from big deficit
vs Indiana nearly blew a big lead
vs Villanova nearly blew a big lead
vs LSU looks they will need to come back to win
