We better do a much better job of jumping the dribbler on ball screens and/or switching than we did against NC. Second half ,IMO, we were terrible at it and it was one of the two main contributing factors to us getting beat. JMHO
Not much it is ALL about her and she could cares less about the rest of the team. She complained about team defense after the latest lose. Yet she plays very little if any defense.
Mara Braun, who we recruited, is off to a great start as a freshman for the Gophers. Averaging almost 20 pts a game. Watching Gophers vs Penn State and wishing we had landed her.
Edit: Game went double OT. Gopher win 98-96. Gopher home state freshman were great, Braun 26 pts, Battle 19 pts, Heyer 18 pts.

Got curious about how former Cyclone Maddie Frederick was doing at Nova Southeastern. Turns out she's doing pretty darn good. She leads them in points, FGM, 3PT, FT, rebounds, assists, and steals. She also has three 30-pt games through 8 games. The Sharks are currently 7-1.

Notre Dame earned its largest win since 2004 over UConn in a game that saw Huskies' superstar Azzi Fudd go down with a knee injury.
I feel bad for UConn. Definitely had their share of injuries.
Related to the earlier tournament where it took forever to get medical assistance to an injuried player on the court. About time the schools stood up some for their student athletes however they are just pulling out and are still too cowardly to make further waves and say why.

Sounds like she will be back this week and this wasn't an ACL or anything like that.
The second I saw that setup it reminded me of a 12's volleyball tournament setup in a ballroom. Ridiculous!
The cheesy resort setup's for those Caribbean and Cancun tournaments aren't much better.

You want to hold Clark’s assists down. Most of them are to Cziano for easy shots near the basket. Shut down Clark’s passing to her and Clark will launch 30-36 footers. If she makes one she will throw anything up.
Clark is at her best dishing out dimes in transition. Once Iowa is in half court they seem to be a lot of three if they can get open and a lot of Clark if the others cannot get open. She's like a QB that's better scrambling than setup in the pocket.
The plan for Iowa is 1. Clark throws up a three 2. Pass to Czinano 3. Clark throws up another three 4. Find someone who is open
