WBB: General All-NCAA Thread - Not Team Cyclones Stuff

That notation that 25% or so of the kids entering the portal end up nowhere is kinda telling. Not everyone is even going to get an offer. I think sometimes the impression is everybody wins and moves to a better situation. Maybe, maybe not.

Interesting take from Geno. True for the elites, what he is saying. However, not everything that is true for the elites is true for the general run of the mill P6 teams, even ones' that are pretty good.

I had no idea there were that many. I understand his position, but in the lower tiers a kid could leave for more playing time at another school with good expectations if there wasn't too much baggage. Some schools like TT, UT, ISU mbb did well with transfers.

South Dakota State just won the WNIT over Seton Hall by about 30 points! Impressive win. This is the same Jackrabbit team that the Twister Sisters dispatched by 19 points back in November.

Not precisely the "same" team as they didn't have Myah Selland back yet when we played. She was last years Summit League POY. They should have been in the NCAA's over some of the rather pedestrian P6 teams that got in. BS that they weren't in.

ISU recruited her out of high school - would be a great get IMO. Assume she's tired of losing.
She’d be an outstanding addition. Many here are too sentimental when this is the time to “go for it”! Hey, MEM has been my favorite lady Cyclone since she arrived in Ames. Sara S. would theoretically supplant MEM for playing time and I’m all for it if it makes the team better! Iron sharpens iron! MEM and Aubrey can rise to the challenge or take it elsewhere- you can’t have too many good players!

It's amazing how many Big 12 regulars get assigned to officiate the women's final four/championship. They're supposed to be the best of the best?

S. Carolina gets good size leads then they start doing stupid stuff and allowing UCONN to get back in the game.

You know I just don't care much for D Staley. Terrific coach and all and am not watching this game but just not a favorite of mine.......

Good for South Carolina.

Do ESPN's announcers ever know that them yelling doesn't make something more interesting?
