WBB: General All-NCAA Thread - Not Team Cyclones Stuff

Wow. The Gophers just plain quit. I'm the first to say Lindsay was a great, great player, but...this coaching thing is just not her gig. Just no defense, or hustle anywhere. Losing by 56 at home to Iowa is pathetic.
Minn fans deserve better.

Gopher fans are in a bit of a pickle. They have a really good class coming in next year but that won't pay off for several more years. Assuming she cane ven do anythng with them. :(

Hesitant to check into the Gopher Hole WBB forum.

I watched most of second quarter. Decided that was enough. Made the mistake of being on the channel right after the game for the fawning over Caitlyn activities.
Clark played 35 minutes in a 56 point win? Talk about stat-padding. Maybe that was what got her to pick Bluder.

Meanwhile KF played 22 min. Nearly 6 min. above her season average, but amost exactly what she averaged last year as a Cyclone. About the only stat she is higher at this year is assists. Most likely because you pass the ball to Clark she shoots it.

ou trying the ISU defense on Lee against KSU. Working just as well as it did for us. So far Lee has about 20of KSU's 28 points and they are up by ten 2:30 into the second quarter.

K-State is taking it to OU in the little apple. 37-13 halfway through the second quarter. Lee has 25 points already.

64-49. I think Lee has 47. Let that sink in.
Edited because ESPN app was wrong.

They must’ve taken our approach to guarding her, just didn’t work out as well.

I watched quite a bit of this game - OU did similar to what we did - however our posts did a much better job of moving her off the block and making the shots somewhat contested. OU let her get her position on the block for the most part and KSU was able to just lob it to the baseline side for uncontested layups. When help did come it was normally late and resulted in fouls. That is why she was 23-30 from the floor and 15-17 from the line.

Kind of ironic, that It was Jennie B's team that has pushed Lee to the forefront of the scoring race against Clark, the ESPN darling who shares the same high school and college alma maters as Jennie.

No shockers from the finished games. Big one right now in Texas at OU. OU wbb in a stretch where counting today's game 3 of their current four games contain Texas and Baylor.

Of those 2 teams I glad Texas got the L. Hopefully the trio of OU Baylor Texas beat each other while we remain at the top.
UT and OU combined for 51 turnovers today. Neither team shot particularly well, either. Can't say I'll be sorry to see either program leave this league. Texas women's basketball will bring down the level of play in the Big 12 with the way they're currently being coached. I hope they get clobbered repeatedly in the SEC. Sooner (no pun intended) rather than later, if I'm being honest.

I won’t miss Texas and now that Sheri is retired likely won’t miss OU either. If I had to choose who to keep it would be OU. Texas can be banished to an island in the middle of nowhere and it still wouldn’t be far enough away.
