WBB: General All-NCAA Thread - Not Team Cyclones Stuff

basketball player

Ayoka Lee's post game interview was good. She is such a humble player. Refreshing to hear.

K-State is going to be a tough team to beat!

Been awhile since I've seen Lee play and not look to either be in pain or hobbled by her knee(s). Once she gets back to full basketball shape she's going to be a terror in the Big 12.

Going to be a lot of teams watching tape of this game to see what KSU did to slow down Clark. She isn't going to be that cold most nights and almost makes you wonder if she was battling a bug as she didn't look like her usual cocky self.

That was somewhat contingent on her teammates not doing much, especially the other seniors who where completely shutdown. Contrast with their last game where they made shots and Clark only had to shoot 13 times.

Yep...team defense is the key, but sometimes Clark can close her eyes, toss the basketball over her head backwards and swish it. She can be bloody unconscious at times.

True, but when she is defended like last night (which isn’t very often), she isn’t quite as cocky and confident. Also she is getting her butt kicked and I don’t think she handles that very well.

This doesn't surprise me. Had a feeling was only a matter of time before Mulkey had an issue with her:

That young lady will have a wake up call if she thinks Mulkey will back down.

Mulkey will boot her off the team before she lets the inmates run the asylum.

From all of the shuttlebutt on some of the WBB boards she didn't even hardly practice this summer and isn't even trying in class. Last year she at least bought in and played post and defense (which she doesn't want to do now). I get with her NIL she's a semi-pro but she is still part of the team.

Reese prob won’t even make it to graduation . She will probably transfer (again) and work the NIL system at another school.

If she wants to transfer a second time and not sit out a year she will have to graduate. NCAA has not been giving out waivers like they had in the past.
