Just when you think Iowa is out of gas Clark burns a nitro.

Iowa looks like a mid major team that is coached really well and has an elite shot maker. SC looks like the blue blood with elite talent but isn’t coached well and doesn’t shoot it well.

I'm not saying it's a good thing. Just one of those 'yeah SC is cooked' sort of shots. They've been outplayed.

SC will need some really good fortune to win.

Iowa has the best player by far, and Bluder has greatly outcoached Staley.

I admit I only caught bits and pieces of them this year because never compelling to watch, and had no clue they were this dependent on pure size. Brutal basketball.

I can't believe a program that has been so dominant doesn't have a couple players they can put in to make some shots.

Iowa coach: cuts, defend, pick and roll, value the ball. Basic basketball stuff.

SC coach: go be tall.

Agreed. This is the first WBB I’ve seen this year, but if the consensus #1 team in the country can’t shoot from 15 ft. out I can’t imagine what the other teams look like. Iowa has had five defenders in the paint frequently.

Agreed. This is the first WBB I’ve seen this year, but if the consensus #1 team in the country can’t shoot from 15 ft. out I can’t imagine what the other teams look like. Iowa has had five defenders in the paint frequently.

This is something you do coaching a 7th grade aau game. I can't believe this defense is working against a 36-0 team.

Color me unimpressed with South Carolina. Iowa is the better team; they're not even hitting the 3 that well and will still win this.

ESPN has to be hoping like hell that Iowa pulls this one out. Most of the audience for the game disappears if CC isn't in it.
