In both reviewed calls last night, a regular foul was called on 1 team resulting in 2 shots and then a intentional foul (as announced inside Hilton was called on the opposing team resulting in 2 shots and the ball awarded to the team that the regular foul was called on.

Really strange situation that you don't see much in the ladies game but, last night was a rough and tumble rock fight.

I'm not actually sure what the correct terms are as far as flagrant vs intentional. but, I'm also not sure it really matters because they are administered the same?? I believe the calls were administered correctly given what was called.

With that said...................the officiating was very bad!!

Ryan does not appear to rusty from her time off at all. Changes the upside for this team considerably.

Having a veteran PG to lead a bunch of talented young players really ups the capabilities of the team

I'll admit that I really tried to lock into what the announcer said on those because I really wanted to know what was called on those

Listened two the past 2 games on the Radio.
Lead announcer Landon?, is coming along nicely.
But, "assistant" announcer Jamie Steyer-Johnson? really, really comes off whiny and entitled.

My Middle-School(see super whiny) son was listening, and said that she doesn't discuss the play/foul/non-fouls, she just whines about them....
Not a great look for the university.

I'll make other note. McDermott was unbelievable for UNI and I thought in was interesting that on postgame radio, BF compared her to Caitlin Clark. Not sure I'd go that far but, high praise from BF
