***WBB: 2024 Recruiting Thread***

FYI, my updates are temporarily paused -- Twitter finally shut down free access to the parts of the api that I used for downloading lists of accounts followed by other accounts. I'll likely have to figure out the best third-party solution for doing it since I'm not interested in paying twitter $100/month for api access.
I found a relatively inexpensive solution ($7/mo) that is only somewhat more difficult than it used to be, so I am resuming updates.

Do we still have a shot at getting Britt Prince?

In the article, her mom said “I think we’re going to narrow down the schools this spring and then Britt will make her decision in the summer or fall.”

There isn't really any detail I can find beyond that. She holds 35+ offers so the math isn't great for us, but I don't see us as having a disadvantage over any of the other schools.

How does math figure into recruiting a young woman?

From that article it sounds like who you really need to recruit is her mother. She did most of the talking. I do not know if that is good or bad.

A little more on Goryanova: born in Bulgaria, raised in Britain, came to the US to play basketball at Putnam Science in Connecticut a couple years ago. For the 23-24 season, she's moving to Florida to attend DME Academy. Her mom played for the Bulgarian National Team.

EDIT: she looks really good in those highlights. I know that's the point of highlights, but still...
