the people asking questions were terrible.

That's what I told my wife. You people (meaning the press) have known for the better part of a day what this was about and that's the best you came up with? I'm sure he's not impressed with the press corps that he'll have to deal with...

For the record, I thought the dumbest question was the guy who asked who he'll be bringing with him from Texas. Like he's going to be in a position to answer that! You've just praised Mack Brown as your mentor; now tell us who you're going to steal from his staff! Duh...

i watched on cyclone.com. to me, coach seemed a little reticent. perhaps by plan. these things are always like the weepy emmy's, thank you everyone, blah blah blah.

i hope the guy who keeled over is okay.

Honestly, I didn't think the questions were all that bad. I thought the press, the media, the students, and the whole cyclone nation were somewhat puzzled by this hire the entire day. Not a lot of people knew it until this morning at 11 AM.

Having said that I did hate the one question about the short and long term goal for him. But that only made him look better when he said he believes in the present and isnt too concerned about the future at the moment.

In a nut shell, this man knows what he will do and how he will do it. He is just too professional and only says when he has to to do his job right. I think the people at the press weren't too mean with questions, it could have been wayyyyyyy worse..
