Watch the Mizzou game live!

I havn't watched a game on CloneZone in like a year...but from what I hear it's pretty good. It's HD and the commentators are John Walters and Heft.
Only reason i ask is because i'm trying to watch this Fred Hoiberg press conference and it keeps buffering every 3 seconds.

How is the stream usually on clone zone for live events?

The new system update this year is HD and, similar to ESPN3, it does adapt to internet speed. So, it can flex down to less than HD if your connection fluctuates.

The quality will depend on what MU is taping it with. If their camera is not HD obviously the feed will match.

Mine doesn't buffer at all.

Clone Zone is awesome. Always get a few MBB games, usually a Football game plus all the other little things. Can get the radio feed that way too and you support the university a little more.

I have never really had any problems with it at all. Almost always works perfectly for me.

That was on your end. I watch almost every press conference live and never have had buffering or quality issues.

I assume after the UNI game they will be better prepared this time for the server load.

question for anybody in the know, do they put the MBB games that are on Mediacom on clonezone?

ISU isn't allowed to stream any game that's on ESPN FullCourt -- which includes the Big 12 syndicated games, and most of the CTN and Mediacom games.

Right now, the only game that's guaranteed on Clone Zone will be the exhibition against Grand Valley State. If FullCourt passes on any third-tier (Mediacom/CTN) broadcasts, then those will appear on Clone Zone as well.

Will be tailgating for another football game while this is on. Was planning on listening to it via CloneZone app on Android. Now wondering if I can somehow use a smartphone hookup to a laptop, using the phone as a wireless internet source, and stream the CloneZone video through a laptop at our tailgate.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to pull this off? Any special apps I can use? My wife has a Samsung Galaxy, that would probably work better than my phone.

Hmmmmm....wonder if I can get this to my Apple TV.

For those wondering, I was able to watch the majority ISU games on Mediacom last year on CloneZone.

If you have an Xbox 360, you get most of the conference games through espn app if they are on fullcourt. Love the ESPN App on my 360!

It depends on your download speed. I am watching Fred now at the office and it never stops to buffer, at home it will stop to buffer. The UNI game with the new HD setup for the first time ever I had no buffering at home. The only content with the new HD setup on CloneZone has been the UNI game.

CloneZone is an incredible deal for ISU fans outside the state, even before this big news.

1. I get all the Cyclone Radio broadcasts without worrying if some other stream is forced to turn off at the last minute.

2. Full and abbreviated replays of games I want to watch again or a game I might have missed.

3. One or two live football games and 3-5 live basketball games.

4. Other live sports besides just football and basketball.

5. Coaches shows.

No-brainer if your local media doesn't cover the Clones. Probably a good purchase even if you live in Ames.
