Warriors - do they have it this year?

I really like Golden State, but not sure they have it this year.
As long as they have Curry, Thompson, Green, Wiggins, and Poole...anyone that says 'no' is just not smart or jealous. But I think THIS year, as good as Curry, Thompson and Green are...it really depends on how well Poole and Wiggins play. If the guards are all scoring 20+ each like they are averaging in the regular season, they're gonna be a massively tough out. Road woes is something everyone is talking about and definitely a concern but with Wiggins back that's huge both offensively and defensively.

This series is a battle of the guards.
It'll be interesting seeing if GS's older guards can keep up with Sacramento's younger guards.

I thought Malik Monk might have had the best night of any player on both teams.

Not good for GS when Sabonis sucked on offense and they still got beat.

Golden State shot bad and still had 2 open looks to win it at the end in Sacramento. Trey Lyles and Malik Monk aren't doing that again. They'll be fine.

They've been a step slow on defense all year. Combine that with no real inside threat on offense and teams can guard them tight at the three point line. I don't think they can do it this year. The rest of West and whoever makes it through the east are too tough.

I don't see it. Relying on interior guys that are up there in age when the West is going to be three rounds of rock fights will keep them from repeating. With how good the West is, there won't be 4 or 5 game series to allow for rest. While their guards should be able to hold up, I don't think you can win without an interior presence this year.

Monk and Fox are way way underrated. I don't think the average fan has seen them play much. Watched them all year. Not surprised at all by their performances last night.

The defense has been lackluster much of the season and the road woes have been beyond embarrassing, to say the least. The annihilation of Portland in the regular season finale was an anomaly. I'll be surprised if they make it past Sacramento, honestly. I'd like to see them do better, but I just don't see it with how the season has played out.

Didn’t want to post again this series for fear I’d jinx them. But taking a chance up 104-85 with 6:22 in the 4th. This is the team I want to see every game.
