I really like our uni's too, but to get away from the USC look the gold helmet with gold road pants looks great. I even like the gold helmet with red home jerseys.

Isn't this a ISU football uniform thread? This is getting REALLY old..

eh, those are not good. Your work is good, just not a fan of that look at all. Pretty happy with what we got. Probably our best look in 30 years, which is pretty good.

our uni's finally look great after years of CRAPPY bright red and yellow ones.

The logo from the Mac years was awful (in my opinion the worst we've had). Basically because of the Navy.

Now we have something that is more simple like the I with ISU in it (ala throwbacks from 2007). Which btw we should wear every year vs. the hawks, only with BEAT IOWA instead of IOWA STATE just that the old photos.

I think many of us have been hoping that we could somehow distinguish our football uniforms a little more from USC's, correct?

I've always thought we should go with yellow helmets, but I doubt we will ever see that happen?

So... I've decided... based on our basketball away uniforms... that our football uniforms need just a little bit of white in them somewhere. I think our basketball away uniforms are sweet! The little thin white lines in them really make things stand out even more and look even sharper IMO.

I will try to doctor up some photos using my horrible photoshop skills and post them here when I get the chance.

Thoughts?

Yellow helmets are ugly. Why make it a dominant color? And yes LSU's uniforms are ugly. They just have been successful so people don't mind them.

At most put a yellow stripe down the middle of the helmet. If not that, don't touch them. This is the first year in a long time that no one I know has made fun of ISU's uniforms.

Leave them alone.
