Walking Dead

I've been in DVR mode for this show for the past 4 years. Like we all know, the commercial breaks are excruciatingly long. I also find myself fast forwarding through much of the slower diolague scenes since they're predictable and worthless.

Maybe the Summer will recharge my batteries for this show, but I wouldn't be surprised if I never watched TWD again.

I'm still mad about how they glossed over the Dwight deal instead of showing how that all went down. I know they will at least explain it but the scene in the comics was crazy

Something dawned on me, anyone think he hit one of the girls and that is why it wasn't shown? A guy hitting a woman with the bat would be more than AMC could deal with.

Well, Carol did kill a young girl, so I think that line has been crossed already, although a bat wrapped in barb wire is more gruesome than a simple gunshot.

I'm beginning to feel that the arrogance of the executives in charge of the show could prove to be their eventual undoing. Did they not learn anything from the end of The Sopranos? Or any other highly anticipated cliffhanger ending that went awry when they don't answer the question they've been building up to all season?

The dumb thing about a cliffhanger like that is it'll be clear to everyone who's dead by the time next season rolls around. An actor wont be seen on set, that same actor will likely be signed on to another show, etc.

See: Jon Snow, GoT. He isn't dead. People saw him on set.

Yeah, this Scott Gimple guy that is on Talking Dead all the time is just an arrogant ***. It's too bad they are ruining this show, could have been great but the writers are just really weak. They hit a good show, and it just exploded, and they aren't equipped as writers to handle it, just out of their league now.

The last scene was terrible, the season was terrible. They are really doing some stupid things and totally selling out in the process. I have been wavering a long time with this show, even on DVR there is so much filler and garbage, it's hard to watch even on DVR. Hard to see me coming back to this thing anymore. it just isn't interesting anymore. Same thing over and over.

Too bad, good idea for a show, it could go on for years, still might, but this has to be the peak for the show.

I'd bet a lot of money it's Abraham or Eugene due to the Twitter fiasco earlier on.

Good of shows don't need this type of cliffhanger either. Maybe a little something but I get the feeling these guys knew they wrote a ****** season and needed something controversial. So now they have it, likely just to kill off a character that doesn't even matter. I actually hope it's Rick but I in no way think it was.

No worries. First couple of episodes next season are likely to be back stories, flashbacks and recaps.

So how do they get out of this? Or is Negan actually gonna let them go after killing one and have them "work for him"

Negan will let them go and see if the group gets in line and plays ball. I think this episode definitely shows that the Saviors have the upper hand here.

I think I am done being played by the writers of this. I know it's just a ******* comic book show but did they really have to do the "And stay tuned for next season to see if we did or did not follow the comic!"

**** them.

Peace out!

See you in October.

I'm generally not one to complain about shows like this but what a terrible way to end the season. I wonder if some of the actors contacts are up for renewal and they're just using this for leverage.

I'm not usually a bullet counter during action movies. However, during the whole episode they encountered roadblock after roadblock and I kept asking myself: "how many times have they used that RPG? Don't they have 2 shots left?" It would have EASILY cleared the road and taken out a bunch of Saviors in the process. I know there were 4 rockets and they used 1 to blow up the bikers on the road and 1 more to light the Alexandria lake on fire. Did they use any more? You would think that is something they would have taken with them if expecting to find resistance on the road.

I'm tired of the whole "Carol wandering around whining" angle. And I've always been tired of Glenn and Maggie. Seriously. The show tries to make their love out to be the greatest love ever in the history of love. Sooo, if all 3 were lined up and baseball batted by Negan, Negan would join Rick and Daryl as my all-time favorite WD characters.

This. Wouldn't mind it it was Koural either.

I bet you'll be watching in October...

I hated last night's episode, but I'll keep watching. Some of you guys act like watching these episodes is like pulling teeth. If that's so, then stop! It's a TV show, it's still at least marginally entertaining, and all you have to do is sit on your couch at 9 & fast forward thru commercials.

Am I at least allowed to be a little bit ****** off at the ending?
