The guy she winged in the arm. I guess she thinks if she had taken him clean, they would have seen the others.
That was my first thought but it didn't seem like killing him right off would have guaranteed avoiding everything else. I guess I could see that they wouldn't have been as distracted when the others showed up.
Or if Carol hadn't been arguing like an idiot with Maggie in the middle of a "battle" situation.
I'm assuming they are going to go back to Hilltop to tell them the deed has been done, only to find the place ruined or some people kidnapped.
Definitely this. I think that was the underlying point to this entire episode. It was very well written.
That's one of the first mental lapses I had seen from Carol since the farm. She has been very pragmatic, very focused since then. I think that whole episode was a buildup for the two strongest women to face their own personal crises of conscience...
I only saw 2 guys when Carol lit up the room...either these people have really low numbers or that wasn't the full backup group that came into the slaughterhouse. The motorcycle group we saw had quite a few guys in it though. I AM interested to find out how they got Daryl's motorcycle though. Did they assimilate the forest couple, or kill them?
