Walking Dead

YES! I was yelling at Heath to shoot David.

Yeah, the group was a bunch of aholes there. Heath could have shot him. Michonne could have stabbed/slashed his head through the fence. Nope, just walk away and let the poor dude end his life as a walker snack feeling every last set of teeth. I can suspend disbelief on a lot of stuff, but this little thing bothers me on a writing level.

Whenever they kill off a character, don't they always have them on Talking Dead right after the episode? Seems like they would have had Glen on there for sure. The fact that he wasn't on there makes me think he could still be alive.

This bothered me as well. We couldn't believe they didn't stab him to end his misery.

This was my thought as well...they only had Nicholas. Also other than the viewers, no one else was there to see it. They wouldn't punk a major character like that and lose the dramatic edge.

I believe the walkers were devouring Nicholas' body on top of Glenn. The only plausible way he escapes is if help arrives ASAP.

Put me in the camp of I hope he's dead. Glenn was one of my favorite characters on the show but the allure of the show is nobody is safe. The best moments on the show are when characters like Shane, Hershel, Dale, and Glenn (allegedly) died. If he is somehow safe from that shitstorm it'll be a major disappointment.

If he does somehow survive, I wonder if they will have him still bit and infected. Could give the viewers a farewell to Glenn.

And in this episode everyone again forgot the trick of wiping walker blood all over yourself and just moving along with the heard. Biggest stupid plot hole in the show. Writers went there, you can't go back once that cat's out of the bag. Still love the show but this bugs the hell out of me.

And put my vote in the Glen's not dead. And I think Maggi is preggers too. Just a hunch.

If our offensive line could open holes as big as the plot holes in this show we would be 7-0. I try not to think when watching this and just remember it's a comic book on TV with live action and not animation.

It's basically "survivor" in zombieland and like reality TV survivors we have our fav characters we want to survive but that really is about it. I am still watching but not sure if I still would if it weren't on a Sunday night show when I am at home and bored. Also fun to chat here but I am not thinking this is very good TV anymore. More fun to talk about than to watch.

Would you be willing to take that chance without being a meteorologist?

I tend to agree, but if Glenn is dead, it was a cheap way to go. The way he died is something that typically only happens to minor characters or people we don't know. That's why I don't think he is dead, even though to me it looked like the walkers were digging into his shirt.

Its one of many things from the Darabont-run season 1 theyve chosen to generally ignore. Along with walkers using basic tools\having small amounts of memory, being able to climb things, a lot of the 'science' from the CDC, etc.

I miss your old avatar which was the coolest on CF.

They intentionally left any cast of the TD because they felt it was too emotional of an episode for fans to have a cast member on.

I think the topic of people wearing the dead will become front and center again real soon.

I think Enid is a whisperer

I guess I was much more invested in Glen a couple seasons ago, but really, the only characters I care about are Carol, Darryl, Michone, Rick, and Judith. All else could be WD fodder as far as I'm concerned.
