Walking Dead

Or Georgia for that matter.

Passing through Atlanta while travelling from Houston to DC is feasible. Stopping in Dallas, not so much.

Right, Houston ---> DC could feasibly go right through Atlanta and where the group was (close to Atlanta).

Houston ---> Dallas ---> DC would not unless they went to Dallas and then turned around to go back to Houston first.

We have no idea why they went to Dallas but it's completely feasible there was some reason. If you knew something or someone that was in Dallas that would help you get half way across the country during a zombie apocalypse wouldn't you go? I think in their situation efficiency becomes less important than getting there alive.

I just think Eugene started his lie off small. He was already in Houston and realized the area was over ran. The next largest city is Dallas, he probably just said they had a research center. The group gets to Dallas and he realized that city has also be over ran. Now he is desperate, so he says they have to go to DC because he is assuming if the government can't keep DC safe everywhere is over ran.

WUT...

Why would you need to go back to Houston to get to Atlanta when I-20 connects Dallas to Atlanta - or are you not seeing the yellow line that connects Dallas, Shreveport, Jackson, Birmingham, and Atlanta?

Now, the prop guys may very well have screwed up on the map, and I don't necessarily understand why you would go to Dallas en route to Washington, but there it is.

If Abraham and Eugene were going from Houston to D.C., why in the world would they go through Dallas (where Rosita just said that she met them)?

Abraham said they side tracked multiple times on their trip so far. It was probably hard for them to maneuver that big ole truck with major interstates clogged like they were in GA.

I think it's pretty feasible that they went to Dallas to see how bad it was there and then decided to take whatever route they could, that wasn't blocked, to get to DC.

I-20 probably looked at lot like where the gang lost Sophia way back when. Stuffed with empty cars and unable to get a big military vehicle through.

The Walking Dead books an appointment for revenge at Grady Memorial Hospital in the show's midseason finale (airing Sunday, Nov. 30 at 9/8c on AMC). The fight is led by Daryl (Norman Reedus), who is especially driven to rescue his two beloved allies — Beth (Emily Kinney) and Carol (Melissa McBride) — being held captive by the hospital's menacing police brigade. "He's ready to just burn the place down," Reedus says. "It's a different world now, and certain people have gone so dark that you have to put down the rabid ones in order to survive."
Reedus describes the hour's final moments as so "devastating" that they unleashed an intense wave of feelings before the cameras rolled. "I sat on an apple box with my head between my legs and just bawled for an hour," he says. "I really wanted not to tear up during [the scene] — I wanted to be like I had wasted every tear in my body before we started shooting — so I just sat there and cried and cried and cried."
The tragic events will push Daryl into new emotional territory. "He's one of those characters where they keep dangling a carrot in front of him and he keeps reaching for it," Reedus says, "but the carrot falls in the mud right before he's about to get it."

The zombie drama will return on Feb. 8 for the second half of Season 5, and Reedus hopes the group of survivors will keep fighting as one unified front instead of splitting off: "When the band is all together, the music is much better!"

Gonna be Beth or Carol. I'm sure of it now.

Carollll!

Some people mentioned why they think it's her with last weeks back story. They also just on Talking Dead they will have a surprised cast member on this weeks show.

I assume it is whoever dies. Being's that Beth was just on Talking Dead two weeks ago or so, I think it'll be Carol.

Yeah, I think so too. :(

What about Maggie? I thought I heard some "growling" near Eugene..... aka turner rotter, biter etc.

Pthis is what I immediately thought of. When she went to check on him I looked at Ms A and said 'he's turned'. It's gotta be from the wound on Abrahams hand right? They've made sure to highlight that more than once this season.
