Walking Dead

I wasn't too surprised with Dale's death. The actor who played Dale has been in everything Frank Darabont has done and his firing from the series could not have set well with the actor that played Dale. It was rumored that he asked to be written out of the show. I am just surprised Shane didn't die before him.

Good ending. Didn't see that coming. I agree with other posters...with this event happening, they most certainly won't kill that kid in the barn now, thus things are going to get stirred up. (They should have put a bullet in his head when he was stuck on the fence..... he was shooting at you! No way he is a good guy! And with the zombies coming at them full force, it would have been acceptable to take him out.)

Also Daryl taking the gun from Rick to send Dale off... some good humanity to step in and do what needs to be done at that moment. Rick just had a lot going on...couldn't "murder" that kid...then he was thrown into that role.... Daryl took it from him all "nice like" to do what needed to be done....(like putting down a wounded horse.)

Also, I just have a feeling that Shane is going to be done in either this next or the following episode. Things are going to get crazy because they brought that stupid guy back to the farm. Again, should have put him out of his misery on the fence when they had the chance.

We got to see the classic "Zombie Intestine Rip" Death. Still never figured out how a shambling, slow creature can tear someone's innards out with their bare hands, but its a classic zombie cliche and it was done very well last night.

Can't believe what they are doing to that kid. They've drove him out, almost let him go... then brought him back after he helped save Shane.... then tortured him, then drug him to the barn, blindfolded him, put a gun to his head... did the entire "mock execution" thing on him. I don't think they should kill him, but anything is better than what they are doing now.

Yeah, if anything they really need to just take him out somewhere again and just drop him off like they planned the first time.

I would think thats enough to scare him straight. =)

That had nothing to do with it. Dale died in the comic. It was a matter of time.

I haven't read the comics so I don't know anything from those, but I have a feeling Carl is going to kill Randall.

I'd say to look for Andrea to get a new hat, but they seem to be very focused on making Andrea different than the original character so who knows.

Personally I like it, I "knew" Dale would get taken out, so it was crazy to see it happen one story arch early.

Good call... I thought he was going to in the barn this episode. I haven't read them either.

Yeah...the barn encounter w/Randall and the killing of Dale on his conscience is what made me think of it. Randall was flat out saying to Carl how he was going to go back to the group if he was set free.

Each episode, I keep asking myself...... "Don't they ever watch that kid?" in regards to Carl. His mom is normally with him for about 5 min in passing each day it seems.

If you believe as I do that everyone is already infected (and will reanimate after death [barring head trauma]) does it make you wonder what the ramifications are with regard to pregnancy? Will the baby be infected?

Basically I'm hoping for a zombie baby a la Dawn of the Dead...

Heh...what a great movie that was.

I think Darryl will die next. Carl will have the death of another on his conscious because Darryl will get stuck in a tough place without his gun.

But he has his bow!

I'm guessing no one dies next episode, but the final episode, I'm guessing Shane bites the dust. Actually...

They keep showing the burn piles of Zombies.... When they went to drop that kid off there were burn pile shots and they show the one at the farm too. I think the burning will come into play somehow soon.
